WLAN Packet Sniffer Development
Intelligraphics wireless networking team has developed wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n drivers to support the following sniffing capabilities on multiple operating systems:
- Capture all 802.11 a/b/g/n WLAN frames including:
Frames targeted to a different WLAN device;
Frames with errors;
Data, management, and control frames;
Encrypted frames;
- Capture Frames including MAC and radio (PHY) information PPI (Per-packet information) header,
- compatible with industry tools such as WireShark;
- Provide the granular timestamp of the captured frames;
- Capture and send frames on any supported frequencies regardless of regulatory domain;
- Transmit arbitrary frames with arbitrary parameters specified per frame;
- Provide WLAN interface statistics;
- Multiple WLAN USB cards can be used to capture packets on different channels;
